Jamie Trent Walker
Owner/Instructor
SA Studio of Dance
For more than 20 years, Jamie practiced,  performed, and studied various styles of dance including Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, Jazz, and Modern.  During that time, she also gained experience and knowledge of cheerleading and tumbling through her years as a cheerleader and taking classes at Maverick Gymnastics.  Jamie returned to her alma mater, St. Albans High School, to become a coach of the Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleading Squads from 1997-2002.   In 2002, her squad received 1st place in the ECA JV division competition.  Jamie has her certifications in Sports Safety and Coaching through the WVSSAC.  She has also judged many cheerleading competitions in the Kanawha Valley over the past 15 years.
Six years ago, Jamie’s love and enthusiasm for dancing, cheering, and tumbling moved her to open St. Albans Studio of Dance.  To meet the ever-increasing class demands, Jamie has surrounded herself and her students at her studio with some of the best instructors around (see below).
Jamie and her husband Lorn have two children.  The Walker Family attends Gateway Church of Christ in St. Albans.

~We all have the same philosophy on our roles as teachers, we are here to bring you or your child the art of dancing or tumbling, and helping equip them with the abilities to be whatever they wish to be...but they will always be OUR STARS.~
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference
Yes guys, Miss Nikki is like this in real life...taken while ice skating this year.  Hahahaha!!!
